DecisionRealEstate.com Applauds South Carolina's to Reverse Its Stance on Consumer Incentives
Residents of South Carolina now entitled to valuable consumer incentives and rebates when using a licensed real estate brokerage to buy or sell a home
RISMEDIA, July 14, 2006—RealEstate.com has announced its full support for South Carolina's decision to lift the state's ban on real estate related rebates and inducements.
This newly-instated bill, passed in June 2006, enables real estate brokerages licensed in South Carolina to offer their customers incentives such as rebates for buying or selling home with their companies. It also provides an important tool for home buyers and sellers to reduce the costs of the real estate transaction.

EDITOR'S NOTE: There are currently eight states that fully ban rebate
offerings from real estate brokers to consumers. Those states are:
Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey
and Oklahoma.
